There are lots of ways you can think about your rate and how much you should consider charging per minute for your advice. When considering the figure to set it is good to keep in mind that when a user pays for a call, they are paying for an Expert Advisor’s value. The Advisor’s value is thought to be:
Education and/or license credentials they have invested to acquire subject matter knowledge
Number of Years of real-world experience applying the knowledge learned
Their Time, the most valuable asset (can never be duplicated, split, or returned once used)
So, taking these points into account, here are some ways to formulate your number.
Divide your hourly rate to a per-minute rate. Your hourly rate / 60 minutes in an hour= per-minute rate
Divide your salary rate into a per-minute rate. Your annual salary rate / 2,000 hours in a working year / 60 minutes = per-minute rate
Browse and Compare what other Expert Advisors are charging in your category for similar skillsets and years of experience and set a rate in that approximate range.
If you are new to the LivesAlign platform, we do recommend that you charge a little lower than your average rate so that you might be able to attract users to book a call with you. With each call, you get a review and build credibility in the community. As your credibility builds, you can then raise your rate to bring the call volume down, if need be.
Do note, Any changes made to your rate details will require administration re-approval and only applies to calls requested after the change.
