Yes, there are some guidelines we ask the LivesAlign community to keep in mind while interacting.

We ask that all users (both Expert Advisors and User Members seeking Advice) read and follow these recommendations to ensure that their account isn’t in risk of being suspended or removed:

1. Be On Time (or Early)

The way the platform works only allows up to 5 minutes leeway for the user and the Expert Advisor to connect for the scheduled call.  So, making sure you are in an area that promotes the productivity of the call and logged in ahead of the scheduled time is best.  Time is the most valuable asset one can give, you can not make more of it, you can not duplicate it, and once spent, cannot be returned. Please respect each other’s time and be ready and on-time/early for the call.

2. Come Prepared

Preparation is about getting situated in your physical space (camera, audio, comfy chair, etc.), mindset, and having your questions ready. Taking 5-10 minutes at minimum to prepare ahead of time is highly recommended.  Get a pen and paper write down your thoughts.

• Where would like some clarity or insight?
• Where are you at now and What do you want to achieve?
• What do you have to offer?

3. Be Open in Mind and Heart

Being open to what might be shared and advice given is sometimes hard to hear and digest.  Unlock your mind and heart, even if temporarily, is strongly encouraged.

However, if the conversation turns abrasive or makes either party uncomfortable, its probably best to wrap up the call and move on. Stay on track and focus on the positive outcome.

4. Hawking is Not Allowed

This is a community for encouraging and uplifting all types of relationships. Users and Expert Advisors are here to give and/or receive quality advice. Do not to sell or allow yourself to be sold to. However if in conversation, the other user says something like, “Wow, that’s fascinating – I’d love to find out how to purchase or learn more about your product,” then it’s fair game.

5. Knowing You

Some people try and create business accounts on LivesAlign. That’s not how we work. Our users want to know who YOU are, not your company. They want to put a face to a name and know who they will be speaking with on a person-to-person level. If you don’t feel comfortable disclosing that, then we may not be a good fit. Real people and reputation is the key to making LivesAlign work.

6. ….The Exit

LivesAlign.com offers an encouraging relationship solution-oriented environment. If you step on too many toes and interfere with our warm, and fuzzy ambience or if you are not feeling happy and satisfied – it may be best to part ways. Your account may be suspended or removed and we’ll chalk it up to the our Lives not Aligning while wishing you the best.
